Although the food was delicious, and cooked perfectly, the service fell below sub par. Our glasses stayed empty, and we were... never asked if we needed anything. Appetizers came out along with Main Courses, which is odd. Overall great food. Service was????. Will not be back. Shameful, since this was my first time there. Was on my list of placed to try. The food is actually pretty good and the waitresses are nice however the processes in which the business is ran is is horrible.... There needs to be modernization. Let me explain. I know I can?t depend on calling for a to go order and them picking up thephone. I?ve tried to call over 40 times and I would say 5 of those phone calls have gone through. If they don?t go through itsays something like voice mail cannot be left. I don?t know if phone calls are not priority or maybe the phone system is flawedbut I have tried both George dieter and and edgemere today and could not get through. Also, I tried to do a refund because therewas a miscommunication of what I wanted. I said I wanted 3 tacos and calamari. I meant 1 order of 3 tacos and calamari. Honestmistake however when I tried to refund I never received it. I checked my account 1 week later and nothing. So essentially I gavethem free money. Finally when the restaurant is busy they only have 1 register open. I try to go in and out but when there?s aline of orders that need to be processed I have to wait. This also looks stress for the staff having to deal with one register. This next thing is more of a recommendation. Add the business onto the Uber eats and DoorDash platform. I do see the one acrosstown is available on Uber eats however there at 2 little shacks in the east side. These days I bet there?s money to be made fromthose type of platforms. I usually don't go to this location i go to the West side location by UTEP and from this experience I will continue to only go... to that location the customer service was terrible never checking up on us even though we were at the bar never asking to refillour drinks or anything. The cherry on top on this awful service was I had the molcajete tropical the tuna SLICE'S was like ashredded piece of meat. I had one piece and it was awful overcooked no flavor no nothing. I asked the server to take it back and I didn't want it and they still charge me for the plate. So not only was it the worst service that I've ever had they chargedme for items that I never wanted. Found this restaurant accidentally while trying to decide what to eat. After sitting in the parking lot I decided to check it... out. The atmosphere is nice but it is a small restaurant (very small). It was crowded. There are a few tv?s and there was musicplaying in the background. Nice vibe because the music wasn?t too loud. After waiting for an available seat I ordered amargarita and some tacos. I was impressed by the reasonable price and the delicious tacos. The margarita was the onlydisappointment overall as it was not good. I recommend giving it a try if you like fresh tacos. Read more
