This hotel holds a special place in my heart as my now husband proposed to me two years ago in the rooftop area. A little bit... more than a week ago we got married. I decided to spend the night before my wedding here with family. Since our arrival all theemployees were kind and helpful. The rooms were in great conditions and I loved the decor, even though they are modern theystill give the home feeling. The following morning our room service was great. We then came back to take our wedding pictureswith our court here. Definitely will come back. Read more

The nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, and not the most expensive. Everything is heavy brass, mixing new plus original. Automatic... curtains, espresso maker, and humongous showers in every room. The rooftop bar was closed due to renovations, but other featureswere already classically impressive. Read more

Overall the stay was pleasant. The room was clean and service was prompt. However we had asked for a bucket of ice on the night... we arrived. It was brought up immediately which was nice. The problem occurred the following morning. I happened to glance inthe bucket and the remaining ice had melted revealing a molding piece of food adhered to the bottom of the bucket along withsome scummy build up that was pealing of the base of the bucket. It was absolutely disgusting. I brought it to the attention ofthe front desk. A gentleman whose name I forget came and looked at it and gave an apology and stated that he?d take the bucketaway and when I check out he?d see what could be done about the issue we had. When we checked out we were charged full pricefor everything. At the very least I assumed we would get a small discount or at least our breakfast comped. Was not impressedwith how they handled the situation. Read more

Great location and nice historical hotel! The Plaza was highly recommended to us. We were excited to give them a try. The hotel... is gorgeous! The concierge service was so hospitable and warmly welcomed us from the moment we arrived on their sidewalk. Checkin was smooth and they explained all the main points without making us feel overwhelmed or that they were just going down achecklist. The room itself was beautifully decorated and we were in awe when we first arrived. Everything screamed high classand luxury. Even the toilet paper had a golden sticker. We couldn?t find an ice machine, but that?s because they don?t have one.You call down and they bring you a bucket. Definitely a higher class of service. We enjoyed dessert and drinks down at the bar. They have their own wine blend. It was amazing! Sadly?they don?t allow whole bottle purchases to take with you. So we?ll justhave to come back and enjoy it again. During the night, there was a very loud party happening across the street, so it would?vebeen quite annoying to anyone trying to sleep. It didn?t bother us too much, we just kept our tv on. The next morning, we wantedto try the espresso machine. The cups provided were very dusty as well as the pods. It was a little off putting since everythingelse is so clean. We will definitely come back! Hopefully, housekeeping will be more thorough and give attention to detailswhen doing their cleaning of the rooms. For the price you pay, it should be expected that the rooms pass a white glove test. I stayed here a few weeks ago and After I checked into the room I decided to explore and take a look around the building. I was... approach by what seemed to be a manager of some sort asking me if I was staying in the hotel. He said someone told him to keepan eye on me. This is a very nice hotel and I was ?underdressed? in comparison to most people in the building so maybe that wasa part of the reason. Made me feel like an odd person but I explained that to him and he did apologize. Nothing on him I knowhe?s only doing his job but if you stay at this hotel and want to walk around wearing a black t shirt and some jeans you maybeen seen as suspicious. Other than that the hotel is solid and in an awesome location in downtown El Paso. Read more
