After reading some of the reviews, we were concerned about our upcoming reservation at this restaurant. However, we had a great... time. First the good things: the food tasted good. I had the steak which was done just a little more than I prefer, but theseasoning was very good. The side of asparagus was huge, I enjoyed them the next day too. The burger was delicious but the frieswere the best part of the burger meal. The criticisms: Roasted garlic with the steak was still in it\'s bulb - not a nice lookand not easy to eat. Better to have made a Roasted garlic sauce or aoli. They chose thick asparagus, which is not a problem initself but did not peal the asparagus. Thicker stalks usually have a hard and nearly inedible outside layer. The two differentlylisted beet salads had the same dressing, that was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the salad was missing croutons that werelisted on the menu. In a salad with generally soft ingredients, missing the crunchy croutons is a shame.\n\nThe food, while goodto taste, lacked the finesse it deserves. The service and atmosphere were good. Be warned though, patio seating might involvesome traffic noise from busy streets. Read more

We went for dinner with friends on a Saturday night. We made reservations the precious Tuesday since we were told you pretty... much had to. I was expecting the food to be pricier but where they get you are the drinks. With that said the drinks weredelicious!! We really liked the ambiance, and the service provided by Maribel was top notch. All her recommendations were asgreat as she said. One of the drinks she recommended didn’t taste as she described so she actually took it back and had itremade, when she returned it was just as she said. The black bass and sirloin tacos were amazing. The mahi tacos were only okand the wife’s got stomach aches, they think it was those tacos. That’s the reason for not giving 5 stars. Read more
