Great little diner. We went for the onion burgers and milkshakes and my family was NOT disappointed. I don't eat meat so there... wasn't much on the menu for me, but I enjoyed a delicious grilled cheese sandwich and fries and my chocolate malt was insanelygood. It's small and a bit claustrophobic if it's real busy, but it was worth it and the service was really wonderful. They doa small selection but they do it really well. Who doesn't want an unapologetic, greasy burger with a thick layer of fried onions? This diner and it's owner not only... understand what it takes to make a great, fast burger but fully understands customer service. Within only a few minutes, I had asoft drink, regular sized onion burger and half order of onion rings in front of my very hungry mouth. After eating thisamazing meal, I spoke with the humble owner who told me how it all started and about his wonderful children, most of whom havecontinued his tradition. If you've never had a burger from Sid's......you have been missing a true treat. Sid's has a legacy of delivering one of the... best burgers in the nation. The board on the wall where people have map pinned where they traveled from and ate a Sid's says alot about how far and wide their fame has spread. I ate there again last Saturday. I tell you the burgers come from freshground beef cooked right out in front of you on a flat top grill. They are fried onion burgers and I do mean lots of onions. One of the original onion burger diners! Of you pass through El Reno, you owe it to yourself to stop at one of these places.... Sid's is the most famous, with a Food Network and Travel Channel appearance. The wait can be correspondingly long, and theexecution of the onion burger can sometimes suffer if it's super busy. But, you will get a delicious burger regardless, be ableto eat a piece of history, and receive a ton of food for a very reasonable price. Service is great even when swamped, and thefried side dish (fries, tater tots, onion rings) are enormous! A 1/2 serving is plenty for one, probably two people. Myrecommendation is a regular deluxe with cheese, or a double meat regular deluxe with cheese. Only get the king if you have ahuge appetite-- it ends up being too big for the bun. Read more
