We try to eat here at least once a week and we've never had a bad experience. The shrimp are one of our faves. The shrimp are a... good size, flavorful & filling. All the sides we've eaten taste delicious! The cream style corn was extra good! A couple timeswe ate there on Friday & again on Saturday. The whole staff has been friendly toward us. I'm giving this place one star for the BBQ sauce. We ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with fries, and the young lady I was... with, ordered the brisket with baked beans and fried okra. The smoked chicken sandwich was chopped, bland, and dry. So I soakedeverything in the sauce. The fries were cold and soft. Seriously... how do you screw up French fries? Finally got to stop in today and try smokeys out!! Its such a cute little place. I got mine to go this time! We got the fried... shrimp and the ribs and they were awesome! For sides we got the okra, mac and cheese and the steamed potatoes...the okra wasfantastic!! The potatoes were a little salty but the flavor was good! The portions were good and we were very happy!!
