I have never been SO upset by a owners bad attitude in my life ! We were there on Friday 10/7/22 & inquired about the Senior... menu , the owner George came over & said it was a error in the clipper?s flyer & he was not honoring it !!! & that I could leaveif I didn?t like it , I have never in my life been spoken to like that from a owner & I do believe that it is called falseadvertising ,if your not honoring your adds plus if it was a error he should have posted it on the door as you enter ! There aremany other places to eat around Elgin & South Elgin to have to put up with his unprofessional attitude !Now I see why his bestwaitress left Arlen being there for years ! The Golden Skillet at 740 Chicago in Elgin is SO much better , great food veryfriendly staff & much cheaper ! Read more
Picked up and, took home the lemon pepper chicken meal from the Big Skillet restaurant. I chose mashed potatoes and, the... vegetable was green beans. Also, I went with the cream of broccoli soup. Along with all that, they gave me two dinner rolls and,some crackers for the soup. Let me tell you, this dinner was FANTABULOUS!!! I do get lunch/dinner from here every once in awhile and, they do not disappoint!! I greatly recommend them!! Read more
