I was in earlier this evening with a group of my golfing buddies, where we were promptly greeted by our server Nicole. We had... overheard a conversation between her and the bartender (he’s reaction was pricless about a review she had gotten). We allchuckled, ordered a few appetizers, several rounds of drinks. The food was great, Nicole was quick with refills, to the pun,and had us laughing. Everytime we thought (just 1 more) came another round. I had to leave early just as the group I was with,ordered another round. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere, The contagious smile Nicole brought to the table, and honestly most ofall the relationship between the bartender and Nicole. I believe it is safe to assume that all employees of Grumpy Goat Tavernhave the same relationship and I look forward to coming back. Read more
Love this place. I have been here twice already. The drinks were really good. Especially the Moscow Mules. We had the cheese... quesadilla and house burger. The fries have a tasty seasoning. Nicole was our server, and she is awesome. Had the chance to comein during slow hours in the evening, so the environment was chill, romantic, dimmed, and had the firepit on as well. The food is good, the service is not! We went into the restaurant around 6:30 on Saturday and were greeted by the host only... after she was done playing on her phone. Our server was Owen and to say we were frustrated would be an understatement. Weordered drinks and were told there is no sangria wine, he's never had someone ask him for a Moscow Mule, there was no mangoflavoring but then there was some found. We asked for more pita chips for the skillet appetizer we ordered and waited 10-15minutes for them to come out. Our waters were not refilled. He was more interested in the other staff on duty than our table. Iordered the chicken saltimbocca and asked for the yukon gold mashed potatoes instead of the garlic potatoes that came with theentre. I was told that on the menu yukon gold mashed is short for garlic mashed potatoes....Why not put what exactly the side ison the menu? How are we the customer supposed to know Yukon gold mashed is garlic mashed potatoes? Is this even true? Nocomplaints about the food, it all was very good. What a delight! This place is fabulous! Our server was great at offering substitutions and the food was out of this world!!!... Pricey, but this was a special celebration. We both had bone in ribeye and they were cooked to perfection! The potatoes andcreamed spinach had a wonderful flavor. The music was also great, loud enough to enjoy but not too loud we had to shout. Theonly negative was the hostess. She had no personality and didn't have our best interest in mind. The place was fairly empty andshe started to take us to a table with a beautiful view of the golf course and away from the only few full tables, but at thelast second she diverted and sat us over in a dark area without a window view right next to 2 tables full of loud people. Wethought maybe she changed her mind because she needed to keep all the patrons in 1 area, but 5 minutes later she sat someone atthat very table. We wish we had said something right away but assumed it was logistical. She needs some coaching on how to makethe experience outstanding from the start. Read more

Good was good. Live music. Prices charged did not match the website or the menu. Website really outdated. Menu price... inaccurate. We were charged more than what the menu stated it was. Example.... Glass of Malbec wine, menu $8, was charged $9. $9 bottle Corona beer. Read more
