In my humble opinion, Tatsu Ramen has some of the best ramen around. Great menu choices, fresh food and a nice atmosphere. The... Nagoya Ramen bowl with chicken broth is the best, and their pork bao buns are delicious. Read more
Small place inside with a few tables but punching way above their weight in flavor and portion size. The gigantic Nagoya Ramen... is no joke, this plate is massive and is guarantee to fill you up and satisfy any portion sensitive patron that?s looking tofill up his/her belly with a salty delicious, spicy and Satisfying meal that will make you want to come back over and overagain! I and another family member had a decent experience with our order - other than the pork which was extremely rubbery and the... eggs tasted like they are pickled. Very odd texture. One of my other family members had the ?Nagoya Ramen? dish. It had anunsettling funk to the taste. It?s a decent restaurant but it all depends on your preference in what satisfies your pallet.Disappointing experience of how high rated the restaurant is published to be. Hidden behind Sushi Station, don't pass up the chance to try this ramen house. Got take out and was still plenty hot by the time... we got back to Batavia. Ordered the Tomkotsu Ramen, Tamago Ramen, and Bao Buns. Tomkotsu was wonderful with perfectly done softboil eggs and veggies. Tamago is actually a mix of the Taiwan meat sauce(spicy warning ??) and an egg mixture I would describebetween egg drop soup and french style eggs. And plenty of green onions. If you read the menu and see words like Gyudon, Katsudon, Katsu curry, you can guess that the... restaurant is legit; vs other places where they put generic words in their menu like pork, chicken, beef, (which are mostly runby other asian/non-japanese owners). There are also a lot of choices in their ramen menu. I tried gyudon and the curry katsudonfor now. The servings were huge; the prices for the food are justified. The beef in the gyudon was excellent as well as theother ingredients in it. I just wish that the pork in the katsudon was softer but overall I found it to be good. Willdefinitely come back to this place. Fyi they use Styrofoam for to go food. Read more
