We visited here on vacation - what an awesome place. My wife and I both highly recommend it. One of the owners came to our... table and treated us like royalty striking the bar bell and announcing us to all - we were made to feel special. We visitedaround Halloween and got themed drinks served unlike anything I’ve had before. I had a pork chop cooked to perfection and mywife had a pineapple crunch slider - both were excellent. We also enjoyed the French onion soup - mmm good! We took desertshome to our hotel for later. I would highly recommend this establishment to all. The ambiance is wonderful with a nauticaltheme. The food here was fantastic! It tasted fresh and was nice and hot! I also can't say enough about their cocktails and rum... tastings. Good food, fun staff! Prices are good for what youre getting. It was clean when we were there, fast service and very very... attentive. Music wasn't too loud and could have personal conversations. The patio is DOG FRIENDLY for all my fur babylovers!!! Read more

Great place to go with kids! We came with my two young kids on a Friday night. We were seated right behind the host stand which... was good for us as we had plenty of space between us and other tables. The noise level was perfect...loud enough that no onenoticed the noise my kids were making, but not so loud that we couldn't talk to each other. We came at the end of happy hour (itends at 6pm) but had enough time to enjoy $4 drinks (run punch for me, rum of the day for my husband). For dinner we had clams,the islander burger, the shrimp and oyster po boy, and chicken tenders and burger sliders for the kids. Everything was deliciousand the portions were generous. I wish I could give 0 stars. The chicken nachos were drier than dry. Do you see how dry the beans are? Do you see any singular... speck of seasoning on this plate? Unfortunately the entrees (Drunken Islander & Captain Jack) were the same. Not a lick ofseasoning. Absolutely soulless food. To make matters worse, I found a hair on my plate under my burger. Disgusting. Veryaesthetically pleasing and great service from our waiter.. but everything else about this place is absolutely garbage. If youcare about your taste buds, please do not come here. Absolutely delicious food. Decor is perfect, not overboard, but full of atmosphere.The Wall the Plank Sauce for the chicken left... a delightful, but not overpowered spiciness on my tongue and gums (I had the Peruvian half chicken). The broccolini was*amazing*! After dinner apple strudel was *perfect*. I don't normally order dessert. But, after a near perfect meal, I had totry it. I was *not* disappointed. Temp of the apple strudel was perfectly hot. The ice cream was just right. A good mix of tangyapple and just right sweetness mixed with the creamy of the ice cream made for the perfect dessert. My server, Sam, wasabsolutely engaging and yet sure to give us plenty of time to talk with my friend across the table. He made greatrecommendations and provided some of the best service I've ever had. *HIGHLY* recommended! :) I'm from St Louis area, 1000miles away. The bartenders were all really nice and the chicken nachos were really good. The cocktails we ordered were good at first sip;... however, there was so much ice in them that you really lost the flavor or the cocktail because they were watery after only a fewminutes. The French fries were delicious and the beer batter fish was the right texture and consistency, but was really lackingseasoning or flavor. The ambience of the restaurant made me feel like I was on a pirate ship. Overall, I think that with alittle love they are heading in the right direction. Read more
