I?ve been to Namaste four times in person. The food is decent (relative to other Indian cuisine in Florida - pretty low bar) but... I?ll write about the dining experience. The service is actually not that bad, but the HOSPITALITY is 0/10. Every menu item setin front of you and every service deed seems very transactional, with literally no facial expression or words uttered. Ever.Rather uncomfortable as a customer to feel like they?re inherently unhappy people or, worse, they?re somehow bothered you cameto dine at their place of business. Some of the signs they have in there on the walls to inform the customer of their ?rules?are simply unnecessary and detract from the experience. Their ?rules? attempt to prevent things the average American customerwouldn?t typically do anyway. Like ?NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES ALLOWED!!!? is visible right when you walk in, and that?s not reallysomething that occurs frequently enough in American culture to justify air time when I?m paying at least $25 for my lunch. Thatold guy, who I believe owns the restaurant, has been my server most times I?ve went and I would seriously suggest to him aneducational course on small talk and facial expressions. General hospitality. Their advantage is there isn?t another Indianrestaurant in 35 miles, so they have a monopoly on the market. Wonder why the place is always empty? Case in point: If you wantIndian food in St. Augustine, definitely order takeout. Do not dine in person. Read more

I?ve been searching for a good Indian restaurant that isn?t in south Florida since I am in Jacksonville now. I found... it Pictured here is Rice, Garlic Naan, Sag Paneer, and TANDOORI lamb chops. Most places don?t have tandoori. WOWOW it is sogood! Read more

We have visited Namaste several times and always get good service and food. Tonight we had the Gobi Mansoori for an appetizer.... And chicken kebab and chicken sag for entrees. Everything was great and hot. They always ask what spice level you want to caterto your needs. They are always kind. Very clean kitchen. Nice clean dining area. Never had a bad experience. Read more

Hands down best Indian food we?ve had. Everything was SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!! Even my very picky 8 year old who eats like a bird... ate everything he ordered to the point he was sopping up the last bit of sauce on the dish with the last piece of bread. Eventhe chutneys were thick and robust with flavor. Not watered down like a lot of restaurants will do with condiments. I would eathere every day if I could. The service was also fast and friendly.
