Was not fresh, avocado was dark, the flavor was very artificial seasoning, and mexican food is whit red beans but here was with... black beans, it was not a very good experience, cashier was fast, ask for tip, but the services was bad, no pico de gallo, noguacamole, it was only an ordinary and expensive food truck. Delicious tacos!!! So full of flavor! We had the Birria Taco and Carnitas taco and both were amazing! So far the most flavorful... tacos we have had in town. Great salsas and dipping sauce too. Customer service was also great. We will be back! Read more
I've tried many taco places around Jacksonville, and none of them have impressed me like The Little Sombrero has. My wife and I... tried them earlier today and we were completely taken by surprise. The Birria was so full of flavor and the fried fish taco wasfresh and lite, one of the best fish tacos I've ever eaten. The Birria quesataco looked pretty much like a normal quesadilla butwhen you dip it in the Consommé Dipping Sauce, it is heavenly. The rice and beans were great and the queso with the fresh chipswas awesome! The carnitas were just ok on their own, but when you add some of their red salsa, it's a game changer! The onlything we didn't particularly love was the smoked chicken taco. That's not to say the smoked chicken taco was bad, but everythingelse was just that much more flavorful. The owner and cooks were extremely friendly and the food came out lightning fast. Idon't care how far you have to go to get here (for us it was over a 30 minute drive), it is so worth it! Read more
