Unfortunately, I was not very impressed. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing I will say. And the server was great also. But... the food just wasn't up to the standards I expected. The soup was very bland. And not hot. The salad was lite on everythingexcept the greens. Even the dressing. The empanadas were dry and had a greasy after taste. One little loaf of bread with loadsof butter. My margarita was good. And also the calamari. I can't say I will give them another chance simply because there'snothing I can come back to knowing it will be good. Hopefully this will help the restaurant itself. Also this just may not beup to MY liking. Others may love it. Read more

Our great waiter actually made the grits in the excellent shrimp & grits! A fine wine list, attentive service, and a luxe... hotel. Good Caesar salads, terrific she-crab soup (best my wife ever had), at our table. A very pleasant experience. Read more

We stayed in the hotel that had the hotel in it and ordered room service from the restaurant. Literally the only reason I didn't... give them one star was because I liked the sliders. Half the food was pretty much unedible. One of the appetizers was so burntthat it wasn't even edible, the salmon was so bland that I took two bites and put it down. I have not been this disappointed ina meal in a long time. $75 a piece and I felt like I've had better airport food. Read more

It was a good spot for brunch/lunch. They were decidedly understaffed as is the case with many places right now (but not... necessarily their fault). The food was fine but I don't know if I would travel to campus specifically for it. But if you'renearby and need a place to eat then it'll do the trick. I had a frittata and others in our family had omelette and waffles. Everything was good and cooked well but nothing spectacular Read more

We did the valentines day special and although there was nothing particularly wrong with the food, I felt compelled to leave a... review. The food was good, but not '$65 per person good'. The only reason I left a review is because the waitress didn't knowanything about any of the menu items. I asked for recommendations and she had none. I asked about a particular side item thatwas included with my filet, and she had no clue what it was. Maybe she was new, but she needs to be familiarized with the menuto help customers, especially when the bill was over $160. For a valentine's special, you'd expect some special touches likeflowers and romantic music to create an atmosphere, but the music wasn't even turned on until halfway through dinner. It seemslike atmosphere and decor is an afterthought. This is a very expensive place to eat, and you need to put in extra effort to makeit worthwhile. Read more
