Got a couple pizzas. Theirs is a cracker/thin crust which is very tasty (assuming you like thin crust). Recommended!!

Unfortunately because of short staffing, a terrible experience. Waited almost an hour for our food that never came because the waitress didn't place our order with the kitchen. After asking for the manager Heidi, she apologized profusely for the wait and did not charge us for the salad we ate while waiting for our meal. So we left without eating our meal that never came. Kudos to Heidi though for her professionalism in handling a tough situation, but I would be leery of trying there again.

Nice family business and food was very similar to food you can actually get in Italy (Believe me I?ve been there). Also neat mosaic art on walls

Great place in Ely to get a pizza or pasta. We had a great meal one evening during our vacation up north. The service was just as good.

We were visiting Minnesota for the first time and stumbled across this restaurant after the other places we were told to check out were closed. We honestly are thankful they were so we didn?t miss out on this place. The staff was amazing and so kind to us. We had a young lady as our waitress who was a delight and went above and beyond for my daughters desire of tomatoes. The food came out hot and delicious, pizza is amazing and their chocolate cake is heaven in the mouth!! My kids begged to go back again the next day before heading back to our home state and that we did! We would absolutely drive from wherever we are in Minnesota to go back next time we visit. Highly recommend.

Just okay. It feels like they're making an effort, but it just didn't get all the way there. They boast of homemade noodles, but my shell pasta was watery and overcooked. The Alfredo sauce tasted more of chicken broth and Italian spices than cream and parmesan. This was true across the board. The food was filling and fine but not great. The portions are ridiculously large, so none of us are more than half, but none of us took leftovers.
If it's great italian food that you're after try Sir G's in Ely. Find some of the most interesting menus in town. Try our specials and you'll be back for more. Call us and we'll save the best table in town.
