The ribeye was not very flavorful and it was tougher than other ribeyes I’ve had. The crab cake had fillers. I’m a spoiled... Maryland girl and prefer my crabcakes to be jumbo lump but then this place did not say it would be jumbo lump so that’sunderstandable. Their wedge salad was THE BEST SALAD IVE EVER HAD! It's so good to have a finer dining place like the Carriage House in the community! They've recently done some interior... upgrades and now have a lovely finished outdoor dining area as well. The new chef has done a great job of tightening themenu--focusing on freshness and overall higher quality of the menu items (offering new items such as the appetizer mussels whilekeeping favorites such as the Maryland style crab soup!) Carriage House Inn catered our daughter’s wedding this past April and we couldn’t ask for a better vendor to work with. Our... experience began with them working to accommodate scheduling a tasting as we were coming from out of state. Kristy and Chef Twere able to figure out a day and time that worked for all of us. Kristy was so helpful throughout the planning process and wasvery responsive to our questions. Her advice, suggestions and assistance made us very comfortable throughout the planningprocess. Chef T was great to work with also. It was very obvious that she took pride in the preparation, taste andpresentation of her dishes during our tasting and the wedding. Throughout the reception, both Kristy and Chef T checked on usmultiple times and ensured that the evening went smoothly. The entire staff, including the servers and bartenders, wereaccommodating, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Finally, the food was amazing. Many guests commented on the quality andpresentation of the meals (prime rib and crab cakes) and several told us it was the best wedding meal they had ever had.
