This has been our favorite sushi place since forever. We tried other places but we always come back here! The fish is fresh and... delicious. The place always feels cozy and the staff is very nice. Don't miss the appetizers that are great, the Japanese friedchicken is amazing! After that you have a lot of choices, sashimi, rools, special mention to the eels one, myfavorite. Dinning in or taking out- don't hesitate you won't regret it. Read more

I?m not usually one for leaving reviews but this place didn?t disappoint. We had a hankering for sushi in the afternoon, on a... Saturday, during labor day weekend. We showed up at 5:15 with no reservations and hope in our hearts for a table, and therestaurant was already pretty much booked out for the night, with a space outside for us. In spite of the heat and humidity, wehad an amazing time. The food was fantastic, the quality of the sushi for the price was perfect and the beer was nice and cold. Our waiter was super accommodating to my partner?s allergies, and gave us some phenomenal recommendations. We?ll definitely beback soon for the omakase option! If you?re considering eating here make sure to try and book a table, you won?t bedisappointed! Read more

Truly authentic experience coming from someone who lived and worked in Japan for many years. Just about the best you can do... around here, from the food to the staff. Great fun! Just be sure to sit at the bar, and offer your master a drink. ;) Read more

This is my favorite local sushi place. We find the sushi fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is just ok. One thing I didn?t like... was how rude the man behind the counter was to the lady servers. They were doing the best they could! Not a good look, sir.5-stars for the food. Read more

Amazing Sushi, but the staff will make you're dining experience worthwhile. If there's a seat at the bar, then I would highly... suggest taking it for the full dining experience. They don't have a cocktail menu, so either you're pairing your meal with sake, beer and or wine. As for the sake we went with the bottle of junmai (cold sake) and chased it with Asahi Black. For theappetizers we went with the chicken (tatsutaage) which was cooked to perfection. Also, the mixed shrimp and vegetable tempurawhich was also delicious and very generous on the portion size. As for the nigiri, which stole the show for me, I would highlyreccommend the ONO (wahoo) which is not found often on many menus, kanpachi (amberjack), unagi (freshwater eel), Hamachi(yellowtail) and Uni (they mainly get from Santa Barbara). I rarely come to north county, but I'll be coming more often now thatI've discovered this wonderful establishment. Read more
