This was the second time we had dinner at Podlasie. We thought we'd try some different dishes. They bring out warm bread and... butter first. My husband decided to try the Bigos (Polish Hunter's Stew). It has cabbage, sausage, mushrooms and small bits ofmeat, like chicken. It is not stew as many people are used to...but it is a traditional Polish Hunter's stew. That's what youwould expect at a Polish restaurant. My husband had a side of beets and mashed potatoes. I had the Kotlet de Volaille (a breadedchicken cutlet with spinach, cheese and garlic) with a side of sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. We finished the meal with a moistchocolate cake with a peanut butter cream layer and whipped cream top layer. Everything was really tasty. The atmosphere is verylayed back. I feel as if I'm dining in a small restaurant in Poland. The waiter is very kind and courteous. You can't be in ahurry when you eat here...it's not a fast food restaurant. But if you want an authentic experience you can relax here with anice meal, a Warka Polish beer or a cup of tea...and take a few caramels or chocolates to go. We'll be back for sure. **Thepictures are from our two visits here** Read more

I wish we had tried this restaurant a couple years ago when we were going to...we tried it tonight. The waiter was friendly and... pleasant. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent! Everything we tried was seasoned just right. Thepierogies have a perfect dough with just the right thickness and the filling is tasty. We had Polish soda and beer. The Varkabeer was excellent. The fruity sodas were fun to try. We had cheese and potatoe pierogies with bacon on them and sauerkraut andmushroom pierogies, polish sausage with sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, sweet cheese crepe and moist chocolate cake. Our dinner wasa bit of an adventure, trying Polish food and drinks. We are already planning our next visit there to try some new dishes. Therewas not one thing wrong with our visit! I will highly recommend Podlasie to everyone I know. ???? Read more

Cozy Polish restaurant. The food was very good. The service is a little slow, since there was only 2 servers during the evening... peak. There is extra parking in the back. Read more

Love this place! Have always had great meals here and to-go. The beer selection is impressive and I like almost every beer. ... One food pic shows it half eaten, I couldn?t wait to take a pic! This place is definitely worth frequenting. I need to trymore desserts and to sit out on the back patio. Read more

I've been here multiple times and it's absolutely delicious every time. The interior is very cozy. I had a vanilla cake that was... amazing. You must try the pierogi, as a side at the very least if not for an entree. Also recommend the polish beers. Not onlyis the food excellent but they take care to be as authentically Polish as possible, that is to say they aren't "Americanized".One of my favorite places in the area. Read more
