Went last night with my family and guest - 7 of us. The good: nice decor. The bad: the food looks like Korean food, but lacks... any sense of savory flavors of Korean food, only super spicey hot, and more than generous use of MSG to the point that my tonguebecame numb. I always enjoy dining at MADANG. They are more of a westernized and modern Korean restaurant, therefore, the presentation of the... food and the overall atmosphere is upscale, calm and pleasant. Parking can be quite tricky though. When they are not busy, Idon't have to spend $3-4 for valet parking. Also, the serviceman tells you to get the car if the car is not blocked by othercars. It's not full valet parking service if he only does parking and I have to go get the car, yet he wants $3.5-$5 tip. Read more

I had high expectation from many great reviews and so while dropping by NJ visited. It was fine and pretty good but not... exceptional. Its located in Englewood Cliff with limited choices so may get that review. It was clean and well presented andAvalon was good and generally above average and satisfactory.
