So, this local watering hole has good food, great service, and excellent ambiance! Mostly. Also the bartender working tonight... threw an object at his buddy sitting at the bar and accidentally hit my dad (a local). What the bartender should have done,immediately, was acknowledge the hit and apologize. Unfortunately, he turned his back and ignored my show-me-some-respect,70-yr-old father, whose wife just died last week, and whose daughter (me) had him fired up discussing politics (!).My dad stoodup and got in the bartender?s face. Neither party was totally wrong. Both should have backed down. However, my dad/our partywere paying customers, minding our own business, when the bartender told my dad to leave a Yelp review and ?there?s the door.?Clearly the bartender hasn?t been adequately trained in customer service. He should have been the bigger man and walked away. Wecan?t change people, but we can most definitely change our reactions to people. Suffice it to say, dad, who was a very goodcustomer, won?t be returning and that?s a shame. It was a nice place. That my stepmother loved. For a time. Read more
What a great little place in Ennis Montana. The service was as good as it gets. Pretty crowded, especially for a Wednesday... afternoon but our food was served very quickly. Lots of specialty beers on the menu too!! Read more
???????? Decent food ???????? Mens restroom was in rough shape I came in on a weekday around 1pm and ordered the Chicken &... Green Chili enchilada. The food was really good. I finished it all which is honestly surprising to me considering I typicallyget half to go for my dog. Downside was the mens restroom. I walked in and immediately was greeted by the smell of urine. As Iwas using one urinal, the other one still had urine in it so I decided to flush it which almost made it overflow, and did notget rid of the old urine. 3.5 Stars Service was not so great but also, not awful. It just took a while to get servyas we could not sit at the bar. Only... one table that?s not high top & wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible-ish. However, food was GREAT. Chipsand salsa were delicious. I had the lamb sliders and it was AMAZING ! My little sister had the chicken pot pie and said it wasover seasoned. Mom had the enchiladas (and they gave her rice even though she asked for none.) Dad had french dip and seemedhappy ! Over-all, not worth $106 for food + drinks BUT could be with just a little bit better service. Would come here again forthe lamb sliders when I roll through Ennis on my next fishing trip. Read more
