This small town is very near and dear to me, the rooms were clean, but that's about the best it got. Very out dated and very... pieced together. When I arrived the desk clerk had a customer on speaker phone getting her cc information of which we heard itall. The ac unit had broken controls so it was on high or had to be unplugged. The food can be a hit or miss, but usually a hit! The staff at the restaurant are super friendly and let me know about events in... the area. The first time I came through this place I ordered the nachos and those were fantastic. Massive portion and tons ofcheese and topped with all sorts of things. The second time I came through later that week I ordered an omelette and boy was itsad. See photos below. However I really liked the potatoes that they did instead of the typical unseasoned hashbrowns that you?dget anywhere else! If I?m in Ennis in the afternoon before other places open I?d stop in for lunch, but after that omelette thiswon?t be my first choice to stop and get food. Read more
