Free parking on site. Eggs Benedict very good but home fries were bland. Our server was excellent, very pleasant and attentive.... Dining room was airy and bright. Restrooms need attention--a coat of paint and some cleaning. I had trouble figuring out how toflush the toilet. Soap dispensers weren't working. Very reasonable prices and fast service. Outdoor seating was available. Theyadvertise that the full menu is served all day, which is great for folks like us who enjoy breakfast all the time. Read more

Found this place by accident. Swung in for impromptu breakfast around 10:30 AM on a Monday. Got seated quickly, staff is... friendly but not chatty. Ordered two scrambled eggs and bacon which comes with toast and home fries. Black coffee to drink. Not sure what the server's 40 yard dash time is but it must be impressive because the wheat toast was still hot when it arrivedand the butter had melted completely. Eggs perfect, nicely crisped bacon, home fries flattened and browned with diced, grilledonions on top. Excellent breakfast fare. Me likey! Read more
Dined in at the Squeaky Rail for dinner. It was not too busy at the time and I was seated immediately. The waitress took my... drink order within a minute of my being seated followed shortly by my meal order. I had baked haddock with baked potato andcorn with chicken soup. Meal was good.... When waitress came back, she asked if that would be all while handing me the totaledout check. I then inquired about dessert choices to which she seemed unaware what was available. She suggested that I go lookin the dessert display cases up front to see what was available. I found this unacceptable and went and paid for the bill as itstood and left without dessert. My only guess is that the waitress' workshift was ending and she was in a hurry and wanted tosettle my bill before she left and gave no thought to whether I wanted dessert or not before totaling up the bill.
