We've been to the Rusty Melon 4+ times since we moved to Erie a month ago. Their servers are always quick & helpful, and they... have a dog friendly patio with seating typically available outside. I think their wings are super great, my husband really likedhis beet salad, and the chicken sandwich was super good too. We've had several different waitresses and they are always reallynice. The parking lot can get full but that's a good sign, it's easy to get to from our house. My only note is I wish they had alarger cover on the patio rather than two smaller ones, some chairs get stuck in the hot sun on hotter days. Read more
We had just landed in Denver. We?re driving to Estes park. Needed a place to eat and kill time for our Airbnb to get ready. We... wanted some quick American casual. And landed upon the Rusty Melon. It had plenty of options from burgers, wings, sandwiches andpasta dishes. Plenty of cheap beers as well. Not the best quality food, but you don?t come here for that. More so quick fastand cheap beer. We ordered at 5:30 PM on a Saturday evening and knew it would take a while, but our food didn't show up for 45 minutes, the... waitress should have let us know about the wait. Not a good experience with five kids, and there was an error but the waitressdidn't check on our meal for ten minutes after she delivered it. The food was good, hopefully we can visit again and have abetter experience. Read more
