Chris our server was great the food was average but highly over priced to pay 1.29 for 6 shreds of cheese on my beans an another... 1.29 for 6 more shreds of cheese on my rice. When u order beans n rice n it comes on 1 plate who would think they wld charge1.29 per item ???? Or is that jus me ? My meat was dripping grease in excess ! Food wasn't too bad. Service was good but we waited about 20 minutes for our first drinks. Atmosphere for me gets a 4 start... because I hate long benches opposite chairs in public areas. The soft tacos with beef and added extra melted cheese on top is what I crave. This has been my family’s favorite place to eat... since it was on South Dixie in LaSalle township in the 1970s maybe earlier and than it moved to Erie Michigan a few miles westin the 1990s I think. Great dining experience on a Sunday afternoon. We each had a sampler plate (one with some modifications on ingredients). Our... meals arrived perfectly as ordered, even with the modifications. The food was served hot; & it was delicious! The restaurant wasfairly busy when we were there, but our friendly waitress was still very attentive & stayed on top of any refills we needed.
