This place was outstanding and I met the owner Mounir! He was very friendly to talk with and has owned this business over 20... years. They really know how to make a good New York style pizza. I have been to New York several times and this really hitshome. Everyone should give this place a try, even for lunch because they so sell by the slice. The slices are identical to thesize you would expect in New York and the price is unbeatable. Read more

I've been to almost every pizza place in North County, this is by far the best. The prices are very reasonable, the ingredients... are quality and the dough is amazing. It is easily the closest to "East Coast" pizza you can get around here and they don'tcharge an arm and leg like some other places. Read more
I saw reviews and posts for this pizza place on social media and thought I would give it a try for a slice. I got a pepperoni... slice and my wife got a pepperoni mushroom slice. The slices are huge; maybe a tad too big. The crust was bready and sweet. Itdid not taste like a NY pizza crust, which should be crispy on the outside with a chewy interior. The crust had a store-boughtpizza crust taste. And for me that's a big disappointment. The sauce was too sweet. And the cheese quality had a plastic-likeconsistency and bland flavor. The pepperoni was okay though. And they did use fresh mushrooms. I have had NY pizza many times.Sadly, pizza at Pizza Amore doesn't come close enough to the real thing. Read more
