This place used to be really good, but now that they're under new ownership it's a big disappointment. The beer was really good... so I don't want to diminish that, but the restaurant was awful and the service was lackluster. I've never heard of performingsous vide on hamburgers, but they definitely should not be made that way. The whole vibe was depressing, which is a major featconsidering what a gorgeous building and location this is. Long and short, just go for the beer. Read more
This place is awesome. We sat outside with our dog and ordered at the counter. The beers are excellent, especially the Pilsner... and the Lager they make. Ordered the Sous Vide burger and it was excellent. Also had the pork and shrimp tacos and was notdisappointed. This is a great place to go for a quick bite and drink after visiting the North Shore. We were here on 8/23/22 and spoke to a waitress/bartender. Her friend was also there having a beer and they were so friendly,... accommodating and helpful. The beer was good. They have mostly German beers. Recently they made food available too but we didn?teat there. Would go again. Read more
Great Marsh - good beer. Good food. Great space! We were vacationing on Cape Ann and happened by Great Marsh brewery. They... have a variety of beers in many different styles, so it is likely there is something for everyone. Of the beers we tried, theirsession ipa is a great one, Cisco and mosaic hops make it a clean, crisp, citrusy drink - heat for the summer or any season forthat matter. The tap room and restaurant are purpose built into and around the brewery. Walking in you you can see theoperation at work, hear the canning of a new batch, and take in the warm smells of yeast and malt - a feast for all thesenses. The tap room sits on the ground floor and includes and outdoor patio area. The bar and restaurant (sousviderie) areone flight up and wrap around the towering barrels and production floor. A cat walk allows you to view the entire operation fromoverhead. Menu features a variety of burgers, tacos and Mac and cheese? all cooked sousvide style. I am my partner ordered thespicy fries? which were a great and flavorful start to lunch. We the ordered two different tacos so we could try a variety.
