My wife and I had the essex chicken chopper and fries tonight .it was one of the best sandwiches we have ever had !! Chicken was... right to the edges of the bread .bread was very fresh . Fries cooked perfectly !! Will definitely eat there again !!! Read more
Wonderful food. We had the brisket on brioche (zippy awesome homemade BBQ sauce!), BLT (one of the best my mom has ever eaten),... Delight Fries (delightful!) and really tasty ice cream funnel cake. Good serving sizes. Not too much and not too little. But youcan't beat the atmosphere with the outdoor tables, music and flowers. Incredibly friendly staff (the owner helped us). A littleoasis in Essex. We came from Windsor and so glad we did. This place will be overrun when more people discover it! Read more
Love coming here in the spring and summer with my roommate, only gripe I have about the place is no debit / non-ice cream food... is a bit on the pricey side.. however other than that, the food and ice cream itself is pretty good and if you dont have extracash to spend just get some ice cream. If you're like me though and have some extra cash from time to time, I highly recommendtrying their reuben sandwich. Very yummy and good portion size. Read more
