Went here around 7:30pm on a Thursday for a party of 2 without reservations. They were great, seated us promptly, our waiter... Julian was very friendly and informative. The drinks were well done, we had a Bees Knees and Garden Gnome to start, and aPainkiller to finish the night. For food everything is served meant to be shared for the most part.\n\nFor starters we had theChicken Liver Terrine and Bone Marrow, both very tasty, thought the bone Marrow portine could have been a little bigger, Bonewas shallower than expected. We asked for more bread for the Terrine and they kindly provide more.\n\nFor our mains we had thePistachio Pesto Pizza, and Roasted Duck Cannelloni. The pizza was nice, if you like Spanish green olives ???? this will be yourjam.. the Canelloni was good, the there could have been a bit more bechemal sauce on top, but overall the flavors mixedwell.\n\nFor dessert we had something light. I forget the name of it, but basically it was an frozen icee kiwi layer covered ina coconut gellee, with a raspberry sauce. Never had anything like it before, very nice combination of flavors and contrastingtextures, all while being very light.\n\nFor the amount of items order, the service, and atmosphere the overall cost was good.It was nice to find another medium to higher scale restaurant in Essex as an option, definitely will be back again for datenights with the spouse without the kids. Bramble was such the perfect place to get dinner. Small plates served family style with a upscale rustic vibe inside and some of... the most friendly genuine attentive staff ive ever met! The food was all very good, but the standout dishes were the mushrooms, the bone marrow, and the carrots! So rich and full of flavor. A little off the beaten path but fully worth the drive, im so gladI came. Thank you to all the bramble staff Read more

My husband and I recently went to Bramble for the first time (but not the last!) for an early birthday celebration and we were... not disappointed! Everything about our experience was extraordinary. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Ourserver, Neil, was fantastic and answered all of our questions without a qualm, even though he was relatively new. He went out ofhis way to make sure that our dining experience was above and beyond. And the food...! What can I say - we wanted to try it all!We settled on the focaccia bread and the wood-fired mushrooms as appetizers, and I can honestly say that the mushrooms were oneof the best things I\'ve ever eaten. The bread was flavorful and the dipping oil it was served with both surprised and delightedus. Our entrees were exquisite; my husband\'s swordfish was grilled to perfection and my autumn risotto was sublime. Dessert waselegant and light; even the accompanying coffee and tea that we ordered was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Bramble toanyone, especially if you\'re celebrating a special event. They take the time to make you feel right at home while treating youlike a VIP. Read more

Great new restaurant in Essex Junction. Great service and broad menu. Flatbread pizza and grilled Octopus was good, and the... roasted mushroom small plate appetizer was great. Bartender was awesome and there is many eccentric cocktail options. Read more

Loved every bite. We had a great space for 6 people where we didn’t feel crowded. They made me feel comfortable eating there... with a food allergy. I appreciate it! Read more
