Terrible! Ita not even authentic moroccan food. Every dish is the exact same, just with a different meat. Having been in... Morocco the week prior, this was a huge dissapointment, the food had zero flavour, and tons of oil. The base for the lemonchickien tangine is the same as the lamb and prunes tangine, they just add prunes to one, but not even close to being preparedthe proper way. The chicken bastille pie, is salty, and civred in some sort of liquid on the top, as opposed to having thesweet cinnamon and savory flavour its supposed to have and the pastry is very difficult to cut through on the bottom as its overcooked. We were hopeful due to the reviews, but if anyone has ever tasted true moroccan food or been to morocco, they would notgive this place more than 1 star. Read more

Superb as always. We usually do pickup since we live in the Toronto's east end. This time we did dine-in and it was even better... than usual. The tea was aromatic and delicious - truly a comforting drink for the soul. The lamb tagine was juicy, bursting withflavourful and quite belly-warming. The chicken couscous was also juicy and flavourful, plus the portion was quite generous. Theaccompanying bread was the perfect partner to suck all the delicious sauciness of both dishes. 5 stars ???? out of 5. Highlyrecommend. Read more

Absolutely horrible. The Zaalook Warm Salad (pictured here next to beer bottle for scale) was basically just tomatoes with a... little onion (and 3 olives) and was tiny (for $12). The Chicken Tagine ($19) was just boiled chicken with celery & onion, acouple carrot bits and a *single* olive (I took the chicken out of the container so you could see the "sauce"). And the LambShank was three tiny pieces of lamb ($23) not an actual shank . On top of all this, all 3 orders were supposed to arrive withPita Bread and there was none. I've *NEVER* provided a negative review before of any restaurant. DO NOT BUY Read more

***?????health risk alert*** This is the worst food I ever had in Toronto, for that matter in my life. The rating they have... does not reflect the current condition and operation of the restaurant. The chicken dish we ordered was smelly, and chicken wasclearly rotten to the point it would be a health hazard to eat.. Someone has to report it to Public health about this. Pleasecheck the photo.. From the taste and look I can definitely say lamb and beef would have been reheated more than twice. Waterthey provided was gross - please check the photo. I asked the server, and he was so dishonest saying everything was cooked justnow and fresh (an insult to anyone who eats food). We paid a bill of 80 plus. Before you order, please check the toppings tableat the front, if its dirty and if the items are not fresh be rest assured that they will provide very low quality food fromcouple of days back. I did own a restaurant and we never treated any of our customers cheap. If you can't operate it due topendamic, you should admit without cutting corners like this to the point you put public health at risk. Please read some ofother 1 star reviews to see similar issues they have faced. If you are not lucky enough to be served the fresh batch, be readyto face the consequences for eating almost rotten food .. ???? Read more
