Great experience! Even though they are low staff, they staff that is working, including the manager, really put in the effort,... are really warm and hospitable. We were greeted immediately and seated with consideration of our preference, although therestaurant was really busy. Hong Ya was our server and she is gangster! Very efficient and attentive. Because it was busy and wehad to brought us soup very fast so we can start our meal. Saw other server was great too, fast and hospitable. Restaurant wellmanaged. Food great as always. Thank you! This swiss chalet location was good. The restaurant was clean and the employees were very friendly. The food tasted great and... was hot and fresh when it came to the table. The booths are small and close together, however there are larger tables alsoavailable. There is plenty of parking surrounding the building. Read more
Went with a party of 6 for a birthday on a Sunday afternoon. Waited 20 minutes for the orders to be taken. Waited another 20... minutes for the food to arrive. Poutine cold. Fries cold. My half chicken dinner was smaller than my wife?s quarter chickendinner and the baked potato was smaller than a tennis ball. The kids? burgers came out PIPPING HOT, they nearly burned theirtongue on the meat. The kids? donuts tasted like fish batter. The waitress was nice but could only do so much for what seemedlike an understaffed and overwhelmed staff. She offered a pie for the birthday person but no one was feeling it. Kept my mouthquiet as to not disturb our party?s vibe. Spent more than $125 for a very disappointing experience. We won?t be returning tothis location unfortunately. That?s too bad because it?s the closest one. I guess it?s up to the Dixon road location we go tofrom now on. Read more
Terrible service. Waited at least 20 minutes to be seated when we were the only ones waiting. We were waiting on another person.... The server didn't even ask us if we wanted drinks while we waited. 20 minutes passed. We wanted to order. She never even madeeye contact with us. We got her attention. Ordered. Got all of our food except for the birthday girl. At least 10 minutes beforethey brought the birthday girl her food. The fries were burned and squishy at the same time. The chicken is pink. What an amazing experience! This is how I must resubmit this review. Swiss chalet exclusively comments on positive reviews... rather than address their restaurants that have health code violations. We sat down and ordered some drinks. About 10 minutesinto our stay we were greeted by a visitor. We had a large brown looking fellow land on the table. 5 servers came over to tellus they always get flies. It was a North American cockroach. He was on our table partaking in the festivities. The manager cameover to say they sprayed the building but a few cockroaches are still flying around. They encouraged us to stay and eat. Therewas no way I could look at food after that. So we left. Given how dirty this place was. No surprise. Read more
