A great wine producer/bar/store with light food options. I particularly appreciate the option to just order a bunch of bread... hunks with oil and vinegar. In my experience, the wine they produce is on the traditional end of the natural wine spectrum: it'sconsistent and generally fit my expectations based on the grape varietals used, unlike some natural wine that's wildly variableand often overbearingly sour or funky. We had a fantastic time at Civic Winery! Celeste treated us to a great conversation while we enjoyed a flight of their wines.... She was very knowledgeable about their natural wine fermention method in terracotta. After that, we got a quick tour of theircellar room since the actual winery was busy with production. Took home a bottle of tasty rosé. Definitely recommended! Read more
