Super surprised that there wasn't a wait when we arrived. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant buzz in the air. Dorothy... came over and clearly understood the assignment. We had beverages at the table and orders in within 11 minutes! Food came outcooked the best I've seen and tasted at a Denny's. Manager was very sweet and accommodating at her table touch. This dinner experience was the best ever. Denny's has definitely come a long way. When I walked in, the atmosphere was grand and... I was greeted immediately by Wendell. He lead us to a booth that was clean and promptly took our drink order. After our drinkswhere delivered, we were ready to order and he took our orders without writing anything down. Early Sunday morning breakfast date with the hubby. Not crowded at all, just a couple tables of diners. The host was also our... waiter. He did a pretty good job. Water glass filled, coffee filled. Food came in about 20 mins. Scrambled eggs were reallygood, toast was toasted to long, sausage links were so so, hash browns were needed some salt but still good. This is my second visit here. The first visit my friends and I got up and left because when we were seated you could tell it was... going to a really long wait because there was only one waitress working and she was serving coffee creamer with extremeexhausted look and huffing and I?m not exaggerating this whatsoever. We all looked at each other and said this is obviously notgoing to be timely service so we left and opted for Waffle House. I decided to try it again this morning alone. It?s the sameexhausted girl who appears so exhausted to walk and throws the menu down and and the silver ware and walks off. Her hair isthrown in a dinner bun as it also appears it was too exhausting for to do anything with also. She did a little better whentaking my drink order. I?m also disappointed at the fact the I?m having to eat breakfast in the dark. There is zero lightingwhich is unsatisfactory. I?m not sure if this girl is working too many hour or over worked or hates her job or a combination ofboth. She doesn?t appear happy to be here and definitely not providing a pleasant happy smile and attitude while providingservice and representing the Denny?s brand. My friend and I decided to eat in your restaurant a few days ago during your overnight shift , it didn?t appear initially busy,... but it was a little busy when we got in. My friend and I both love your food so we had no problems waiting! Jen, our server whowas the only server was the most attentive, friendliest, sweetest server we have ever had! She went well above and beyond what Ibelieve is acceptable customer service! Even though she had many other tables, she made us feel like we were her only table andanticipated our needs before we realized we needed them. The manager made herself clearly visible and available to assist inany way possible! Jen is a true asset to your company and it is because of her service and the teamwork shown between her andthe manager, we?ll be back!
