My aunt and I stopped here on our road-trip - we ordered a mushroom pizza, and a sausage pizza. The sausage and pizza crust are... both homemade. We learned that many of the vegetables and mushrooms are grown in the restaurant?s garden :) Read more

This restaurant doesn't need another positive review, but they deserve it. Eat here if you enjoy creative, well prepared,... delicious food. Stuffed calamari are very difficult to get right - if overcooked, they get tough, shrink, and burst - but nothere. The roasted Caesar salad was on par with what I've enjoyed in Italy. The pizza was perfect and delicious. Wines areinteresting and reasonably priced. Plus the wait staff are friendly and attentive. No wonder the restaurant was humming on aThursday night. Read more

Must-try: Piazza. Top rated Italian restaurant in Eureka. Overall great dining experience with very welcoming service in a... lovely town. Started with Wild Mushroom Cobbler, we have Piazza and steak as the main dishes. They are both delicious and thePiazza taste especially amazing with simple components. For dessert my friend ordered ice cream. I tried black chocolate trufflewith duck fat. It has a bit salt on it's top while the truffle itself is not rich of flavor of duck. Read more

Excellent grilled/fired and other specialties, great use of local foods like mushrooms. A sweet, red-toned interior makes for an... intimate experience, if a touch on the loud side, which is hep anyways. Good wine pairings and creative desserts too. Servicewas subtle and excellent. Definitely a must visit, a top choice in eureka. Read more

Clean plates say it all! And I'm not ashamed to say we enjoyed appetizers and dessert too. We started with the Mushroom Cobbler... which was the main draw for us and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Obviously we were expecting something savory but thiswas just magic. We also did the Study of Wild Mushrooms and though they didn't compare the cobbler, they were still quite good. For entrees my boyfriend had the Fettina Steak and I went with the Polenta Lasagna. I was somewhat disappointed that the menuhad changed from what I saw online and the dish I wanted was no longer available (the rockfish sounded amazing) but both entreeswere great. The potatoes au gratin that came with the steak were a showstopper. I don't think I've ever seen my fella dive intoa dish containing dairy with such reckless abandon and I'm happy to say neither of us regretted it. That tells me this placeuses top quality ingredients because the cheap stuff gives him the bloats. For dessert we did the seasonal ice cream (cabernetflavor) and cookies with a single Irish Cream truffle. The ice cream was perfection and I'd be in trouble if it was available bythe pint. The only criticism I have, and it's not really, is that this place is pretty small. We were very fortunate that wearrived shortly after they opened and they had a table available. However, I will say that the size seemed like the perfectbalance between kitchen staff and patrons. Nobody waited long for their food and it was a room full of smiles. Reservationsrecommended.
