Was a very disappointing visit, have been coming to eureka springs for years and finally made it to the Bavarian Inn.... After... standing by the Please wait to be seated sign for 25 minutes we were finally acknowledged and seated few minutes later. Sarahour server was great, other than she never questioned why so much food was left when removing plates. My wife had a fantasticchicken breast with mushrooms and gravy. The red cabbage was very disappointing, it was not at all as I remembered it to tasteand I saw quite a few portions returning to be trashed. I had a Bavarian sampler. Bratwurst was very good. Smoked chop was sameas you buy at store, nothing special but still tasty. Their famous potato cakes were awful...I could see where if preparedcorrectly they would be good, but I was served a soggy lifeless cake...it was very disappointing. They were obviously runningshort staffed, but management should have at least said hello, have a seat till we can get to you...she walked by ten plustimes...eyes down , ignoring customers. For the price, I would consider going elsewhere for your money to be well spent. Again,once seated, our server was great and I could see potential for good meal, but not on this night and sadly on our honeymoon notfor us. Luckily I had great company to pass the time. Read more
Very clean and neat German/Czech restaurant. Great tasting food with European specific. My goulash was fantastic that my son had... changed his order just to enjoy his own plate. So was the German chocolate dessert. Very polite and respectful personnel,knowing the etiquette and acting accordingly. Not a cheap place, but definitely you get what you paid for. There is also a lodgewith pool, fire place and other amenities along with a small gift shop. I was nicely impressed. Read more
Really interesting menu and very retro, throwback type of interior design. Serving an eclectic crowd of locals, tourists and... bikers. Very cool buzz. Food is good. Not super savory or spicy, but pretty authentic. Large portions. Good value for money. Read more
