This was an eclectic local German restaurants first go at a Fest. They were trying so hard to properly care for the large crowd... than arrived on a hot and steamy Georgia day. I'm sure many lessons and bright ideas (toward future Fests) were captured. I lookforward to each additional years fest and to refinements the Management will take on. The cost of this event for me was high, Idrank beer at $15 per liter...that, having attended many European Fests was prohibitive. There was a nice band...maybe it wasvery costly to employ them. This was far from authentic tasting German food. It was completely devoid of flavor, visually unappealing and overall... unsatisfying. Please, save yourself the trouble and go to Villa Europa. I am so sad because I genuinely walked in with an openmind and was excited about trying this restaurant. Read more
This place was pretty good and I don't like eating German food much. I had the lunch portion brats with mashed potatoes and... souerkraut. I'm not sure what the sauce was that was on the mashed potatoes but it was good. Read more

Pretty good menu. We started with the pretzel bites, which were very good. For dinner, we had the gypsy schnitzel and the... sauerbraten. Both were pretty good, maybe not as good as hoped, but generally well prepared. The German beers on tap were great- we had a liter of hefeweizen and a half liter of lager. Both were great examples of why beer purity laws were made - superconsistent, great flavor, and perfect carbonation. For dessert, we had a German cheesecake. It was light, sweet (not overly soas many cakes locally are), and a great size to share. Probably the highlight of the meal, really. Read more
