In town on business. Found Lou Malnattis on Google and read a few of the reviews. I'm staying at a hotel nearby so I went there... and ordered a pepperoni person pizza to go. Waitress said it wound be about 30 minutes. Came out on time and correct. Gave meplastic silverware and napkins for the road. Good pizza. Not outstanding. I'd go back. Wish I would have ordered a small ratherthan a personal. Not as "deep" dish as I was expecting. Read more
Horribly slow service, our pizza seems to have sat for 20+ minutes after leaving the oven, took food nearly an hour to be... served, my Caesar salad dressing was beyond bland, no beers on tap, no microbrewery beer, only a handful of wine choices. DO NOTEAT HERE. Read more
Lou Malnatis has definitely gone downhill but it's still one of my personal favorite deep dish pizza spots. The top of the crust... is still superb and you get fairly good value for your money. however they don't add as much tomato sauce as they used to, thereason everyone loved this place was because of the nice pile of sauce right on top of everything, hopefully they bring thatback? Lovely server and manager but our pizza was delivered to the wrong table. It?s 30 minutes for a pizza here so keep on top of... your servers! Manager comped our order but there were only four tables outside and one was having dessert. How could they get itwrong? Frustrating.
