I had somewhat low expectations in ordering these hot wings to go. I expected soggy, mediocre flavor, and average size. I was... WAY wrong. The one pound order was huge and super satisfying for lunch the next day. They didn't cover the wings in sauce buthad the sauce on the side so they were crispy and awesome when I got them home and dumped in the sauce. The price was strep atfirst but now I'm that I know what to expect I think it's way reasonable. Buffalo Wild wings charges as much and the qualitydoesn't come close to Cactus Moon. Moral?: If you have an itch for some TASTY, CRISPY, LOCALLY MADE, HOT WINGS? TRY THIS BAR.They were great. I've lived by this bar for years, glad to have finally tried some of their food. Well done. This was a delightful stop. We visited early morning, had time to kill before having to go someplace else and decided to go in... for a coffee and a bloody, ended up staying way longer and had a delicious breakfast. I live just a block from Cactus Moon, so I go there quite often for my required Margarita's and they don't skip on the booze. I... like to turn my Coffee Nudges into dessert and ask for extra whipped cream and cherries and they never hesitate to do this forme. Yum! It's a large saloon with lots of bar seating and a large sunken more quiet area, so I've always been able to get my ownlarge or small table. It's definitely a sports bar with plenty of TV screens. I see a lot of Seahawks fans there on game days.They have darts and golf video game, plus a whole wall of pull tabs behind one side of the bar. I think they have a karaokenight, but I'm not sure. Every single one of the staff that has served me have been friendly and nice. One handsome male serverwho knows that I'm a regular and often calls me "Honey"or "Sweetheart" which I really like and one time even gave me a hug! Oncewhen my tab came, I was $10 short and he covered it for me, which is so generous. When I tried to pay him back later, he refusedto take my money. The same thing happened again, this time $20 and once again my incredible female server AND pride it for me.Later when I went to pay her back, she at first she refused to take my money, however I was so grateful that I insisted that shedid. To sum it up the place is really friendly and comfortable with lots of great decorations. My favorite is the I usuallythere alone, so I like to go there just to talk and interact with other the patrons. They serve appetizers and full meals withdaily special's and they bring out your food super-fast. I love Taco Tuesday's as you can get a bunch of hard ones at a time orsingles for just $1.50 each and 50 cents more for soft ones. Perfect for when I'm short on money. Friday night is steak night.It wasn't the most tender that I've had but you can't beat the low price. My fav is the huge prime rib special on Sunday night.Salad, clam chowder, a loaded baked potato and the prime rib in small, medium and large. Read more
