So we eat in our car here.. so atmosphere is only what our car offers but the food is so amazing the fries are served crisp... and hot and the drinks are Ice cold. Husband had the Swiss mushroom.melt and enjoyed every bite and I had the classic burgerwith cheese. It's all super super tasty and affordable. The peanut butter milkshake is perfection. And then because we travelwith our dog we order the dog patty $3 for a patty and several.slices of bacon and the dog loves it !! We come here wheneverwe're in town but because of the dog we don't eat in but there are a few small tables inside where u can and a very busy drovethru. My grandparents took me here as a kid about 15 years ago, and I never forgot how good it was. I finally had it again today and I... was super excited! It didn?t disappoint us. The service was fast, the waitress came and took our order and payment while wewaited in drive thru line. We got the double bacon cheeseburger, the fish sandwich, onion rings and potato salad to share.Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! Both sandwiches were delicious. The onion rings were lightly battered,with thick juicy onions which is hard to find anywhere as usually places put too much batter for me. The potato salad tastedhomemade. It's been atleast a year since last eating from here, as we moved a bit out of the area. I had "a day" and my kids & I were... excited for Mikey's. We've been talking about going back for some time and happened to be out that way. We called in and pickedup our order (which was all correct! : ) My boys went in (rather than me, after biffing it on some stairs earlier in the day)waited inside for the order, which sounded like it'd be ready when we arrived (in 15mins). While waiting, they noticed therewere some workers that stood around at times. And our order definitely took an additional 10mins. Maybe the inactive workerswere just trainees???? So we'll give them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered 1 root beer and 1 chocolate shake. Both great,(although the chocolate could have been stirred more); and one soft drink; Two triple grandpa burgers; one double w/bacon & onefish sandwich (plus some orders of fries which were alright but not the freshest). The burgers were swimming in sauce, all myguys commented on this. No biggie, except the bread gets soggy real quick and we ordered to go.(which they knew). My fishsandwich, while almost as good as usual, gave me a surprise! I noticed it looked like they skimped on fish (which was somethingI've never experienced there before) and I opened the sandwich up only to discover the middle fishless, lol (please see mypicture, there was room for one more piece or just swap out these little guys with a nice big chunk, like they used to giveme). I'm not giving up on them yet though and hope their employees will be able to enjoy making the quality of food they usedto. But also, keeping in mind it could have just been an "off day" for them too. Read more
