This used to be my spouse's favorite breakfast spot in South Everett for at least 15 years. The prices were a bit higher but the... servings were huge and we often had Leftovers. This was before 2018. We have moved back to the area now and were looking forwardto eat there again. We paid over $50 for a breakfast for two and didn't have leftovers at all. The coffee (almost $4 per person) was very thin and scalding hot. The cutlery we were given didn't include teaspoons, which we had to ask for. I had the salmonBenedict which was basically the vegetarian Benedict with a couple of pieces of overcooked salmon, the Hollandaise was bland.My spouse's bacon was almost burned. I usually like to take pictures of my food but wasn't inspired to take any. They used tohave amazing cinnamon rolls, but no more ???? Sadly this diner is now off our list of go-to breakfast places. Was searching for a good breakfast spot in Everett. Still searching. The coffee was stale.The sausage was turning sour.Hash... browns undercooked.Flat dry pancake. It took a very long time to get food. Contrary to their website no liquor license so nobloody Mary which I was looking forward to on a hard earned Sat morning.The place was cluttered. Under new ownership. The portion size is great, the food is good. They don't make their desserts on premises( though they do... bake the premade pies on site.) My favorite dish is better than under the previous owners so very happy with the changes. Read more
The ABSOLUTE WORSE COMMUNICATION!!!! I would rate this restaurant a "0", but i was forced to rate it in order to make this... post! My husband and I ordered our meal on the restaurants website. We were given an delivery time that was NEVER met! Myhusband was called and told that our food ready for pick up 50 minutes prior and that the Delivery driver was not available tobring us our order. My husband and I get dressed to pick up our COLD FOOD, just to arrive at the diner and not find our foodthere ready for us. My husband was informed that our food was picked up by the carrier, but WE WERE NEVER INFORMED!!!!! Weheaded back to our hotel room to wait for our COLD FOOD!!!! This is ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING!!! The restaurant never evenoffered to rectify the situation and make things right. NO APOLOGIES WERE GIVEN to us as customers! My husband and I were loyalcustomers. This business has ABSOLUTELY lost us as patrons and supporters. We will never be eating there again!!!!! We NEVERreceived a refund on our delivery fees and tip fee. **NOTE TO MANAGEMENT** Please respect the time and money your loyalcustomers use to support your business. Incentives should have been offered to ACKNOWLEDGE and RECTIFY the issue. And please DONOT OFFER $10 off on their next meal. It's insulting!!! Read more
