Outstanding steak fajitas. The meat was great by itself. Almost didn’t make a single taco. Probably should have ordered for... two. Jose was a great server/bartender. This is one of the best places I’ve eaten in NoVa! Read more

First time. Location and ambiance really nice. Enjoyed chips and salsa. Went for lunch and we ordered a pork belly sandwich and... pork al pastor, both delicious. With inflation going on, prices here seem fair. Definitely coming back! Read more

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Went there for a late lunch today. Overall, the experience was ok and I would likely... return. The restaurant was clean, there was ample seating and lots of staff. That said, service at our table was quite slowconsidering how unbusy the restaurant was. (Most ables were empty.) It took 10 minutes to get get our cocktails which felt abit long. Also, when my order arrived it wasn't correct and I could not find my waitress to alert her so I had to flag downanother staff person. When I pointed it was incorrect, she acknowledged that she had entered the order incorrectly and went tofix it promptly. The last thing was it took time for us to find our waitress to get our check and pay our bill. It may not bea big deal to others but having attentive service is important to the whole dining experience. Lastly, all of that said, thefood was really good....and the salsa was delicious! Pulling off a good Mexican restaurant is hard. You're never authentic enough for the hard core foodies and never elevated enough... for mass appeal. Urbano does a fantastic job of it. It's not a hole in the wall at all. It's an out and proud, main streetrestaurant that wouldn't be out of place on a Mexican high street. Give it a try, I dare say you won't be disappointed! This place is very pretty and vibrant, and the location makes you believe this would be a good place to stop. But my experience... here we not good. The chips was a bit too crushed and the salsa was too runny but had a good level of spice which I did enjoy. The chips were very thin and flaky, I enjoyed the thin part but I don’t want to be reaching for my water to combat the dust inmy throat. As my starters I got the Shrimp Ceviche and the Elotes, both of which were okay. The Ceviche could’ve used moreonions, and the choice to add mandarins was weird, but it was enjoyable to eat. The Elotes were nice and tangy, although I wouldnot recommend using lime for this one, for me, the lime did not compliment well with the cheese. My main course was a taco saladthat had no salad. It was essentially a bowl of chicken, which was soggy and tasted like it was from a can. It was obvious thatcheap ingredients were used, to me, it’s the same level of quality as Taco Bell. Aside from the food, the service was fine, and restaurant itself was cute, but I don’t think it was enough to justify the price and food. Read more
