We ordered meatloaf, fish-and-chips and jambalaya. All the food was good but the bread was old and stale and they served it with... margarine!! I also ordered a small ceasar salad and the bowl that came in was still super hot like it just came out of thedishwasher. Salad should always be served in a chilled bowl. I had the 3 course meal for $27 dollars. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and garlic spinach. My husband had the jambalaya... everything was good. The bread pudding was extremely delicious. Great customer service. Read more
I called the day before for reservations because we had 8 ppl joining us,but called the day of to add 2 more people. Whoever... answered the phone was pretty rude and lazy(2:30 pm). They kept saying, "It's ok, we aren't busy anyway..No one is in therestaurant.."....Strange. Upon arriving (4/11/2022) we were sat after a few minutes by some short lady who really could givedamn! For 10 ppl we needed more than 2 tiny tables that were right next to the kitchen, so we asked our server if we could havean extra table-she obliged and moved another table for us. She was actually very attentative and very sweet( I didn't get hername though but she had long black hair & young..5 stars for her-she should be recognized for a good job too!). I got a saladand a quiche Lorraine,the quiche had a very dry and hard crust. ???? Towards the end I think our server had to go to anotherserving area..It was a birthday gathering and after the cake we brought was brought out by someone else we didn't see anyoneagain..???? So this is tough. Food good. Service was average. Nothing amazing but nothing bad either. However its 103 degrees outside and... the AC was not on in my section. I mentioned it to waitress and she just laughed it off. Unacceptable. Funny part is: Im an HVACguy in a company shirt. Im the corporate side but definitely could have offered advice. No restaurant in this heat should bewithout AC. Especially when its working in other parts. Read more
