4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Busy with many seats and tables occupied, but we were seated quickly. Enough noise so you knew... there were many there, but quiet enough that you could have a conversation or order. Tacos were not large, but were very tastey.Service prompt. Been coming here since it opened but hadn't been in a while because, now, I live 90 miles away. Given the Mexican we have in... Mystic, Bodega Taco Bar is well worth the drive. It's still fantastic! I?ve been coming here for a long time. Tonight was my first visit in a year or so; feels like the quality has taken a major... nosedive. Everything feels designed to work primarily as takeout, secondarily as food served in an actual restaurant. Formerlycrisp Brussels sprouts rendered soggy and overly sweet. What used to be a sizzling fajita platter now a soupy mess of onions andwet steak, with literal store bought flour tortillas. (Like, the Mission brand. For real!) Idk. I guess everything changes.
