Had Chef Salad. It was fair. Lacked eggs. House dressing was really good. No crackers offered.
Service was excellent, however, meal could have been better. Beef Bourguignon was not authentic. No carrots, pearl onions or... bacon. Tasted of vinegar instead of red wine, beef broth and tomato paste. Really expected that as the new manager is aFrench-trained chef. Please consider adding a few more selections of wine by the glass, as not everyone's palette cares forCanyon Roads: I know mine doesn't. If you don't read the entire review, read this: Put this restaurant at the top of your list to visit while visiting from... anywhere in a 150 mile radius. You will not be disappointed. First and foremost on everybody's minds is COVID-19. Thisrestaurant and their entire staff was taking every precaution imaginable to ensure their safety and the safety of theircustomers. I saw masks on everyone, gloved hands, sanitizing of every booth after each patron, and an overall concern that showsthat customers are their top priority. Now, for the setting: Perfect for a quaint, and very overdue, date for my Bride. Thetables and settings were perfectly set and sized to enjoy each other's company with just the right amount of hand-holdong spacewithout feeling cramped or on opposite sides of the room. Lighting was perfect and the decor created a well balancedatmosphere. Service was far beyond expectations. Everyone knows that bad service can never make up for good food. Our server,Zayne, was top notch and showed pride and care in everything he did. A quick glance around proved that he treated all of hiscustomers with the same service. Little things matter, and Zayne showed he cared about the little details that make a person'sdining experience exceptional. (Open kimono, my Bride and I are people watchers. We saw two somewhat difficult customers madecompletely happy during our dinner because of his apparent drive to satisfy every one of his customers.) Service was swift andattentive without being uncomfortable or making us feel rushed through our meal in order to turn tables around quickly. Afterhaving a great setting, and phenomenal service, the food lacked absolutely nothing! My ribeye steak was a perfect medium rare,seasoned to perfection with freshly fried onions on top. Our experience at Bayside was beyond phenomenal. The service was excellent. Zayne was a great server. The steak was the best I... have ever had. The lasagna was amazing as well. The cheesecake was the cherry on top of the experience. If you go to Bayside,request Zayne as your server. You will not be disappointed. Better than Ruth's Chris in my opinion. Read more

Everything was going good at first until it got to ordering the food. The menu was already small enough and when we ordered the... wings, they were out. Later, we ordered the shrimp skewers and they were also out. A member of our party ordered a sandwich towhich a kitchen staff ate and they didn?t receive their order. We left but they still made us pay for the appetizers even thoughwe had waited an hour while they basically canceled all our orders because they were out.
