I always love a good different type cheesesteak than the original. I ordered a large steak house that I housed!! Cajun bleu... fries and a side salad. The Cajun bleu fries were horrible. I do not like their blue cheese, it tasted musty but the sandwichand side salad made up for it. Sandwich was bomb, the salad was fresh and loaded with toppings. Read more

Kinda small for the dinning in experience but the service was excellent, helpful, professional, and laid back all at the same... time. The was prepared just right and was as mouthwatering in person as it was on the menu. The price, affordable for the levelof quality! So all in all if your just passing thru or a frequent regular of Fairmont, WV it's definitely worth stopping by andchecking it out! 4.9 stars! Keep it up "Steak Escape"! Read more

Ordered two ?grandest? sandwiches, one chicken one steak. Both are supposed to have 3 cheeses, there was definitely not 3... cheeses and they were AS DRY AS THE DESERT. We also tried regular fries and the Buffalo chicken fries, ordered 2 large drinks.Fries were not fresh, idc what they advertise the fries are shameful to be called fresh. The fryer oil needs to be desperatelychanged. My drinks were 2? from the top with pretty much no ice. I had to ask for my soda, was given attitude then when I askedfor more ice, was given more attitude. I called a few minutes after arriving home and let the manager know I was returning myfood and wanted a refund, I was told to bring the order back in, and a refund would be given. It was, but was not instant like Iwas told, it took 24 hours to get my refund. The manager had her hair in a long ponytails but it was around her shoulders, easily could get hair in Food. Also had very long black stiletto nails which in my opinion none of this is sanitary when workingaround food. I heard mixed reviews about this place and now I see should have just made a sandwich at home. Obviously, we willnot order this again, and I don?t know how they stay in business. To boot, $33 for two people to get this order I justmentioned. Read more

I would rate this 2 and 1/2 Stars. 1. Ordered, pre-paid and pre-tipped online. Got there at the exact time listed for pickup.... was told that they didn't know an order had gone through, would have to start making everything... so It took about 12 minutesmore to get my food (ok I get it mistakes happen) 2. I ordered a large and a small both with extra meat and onions with wiz. However both of the sandwiches were exactly the same size and weight. Both looked just a little bigger than a standard hot dogroll. 3. Neither sandwich had any onions. 4. bread was slightly stale. 5. The advertisement says "Just Like South Philadelphia",but all the Steak Hoagies in Philly use FRESH Chopped ribeye steak. The meat from Steak Escape seemed more like ground hamburgerinstead. I saw them put the meat on the grill, it was a frozen minced and formed sirloin. Very low grade. 6. With my $2 tip thetotal came to $30 for two hot dog sized buns filled with over cooked chopped hamburger meat. IT should be a crime to suggestthese pathetic things are "Just like South Philly" For $10 in philly you get a giant hoagie with so much meat and onions, youcan only eat half a hoagie... If South Philly's Cheese Steaks tasted like Steak Escape, NO ONE WOULD BUY A CHEESE STEAK and theTomato Pie would be the official Philly Delicacy. I won't go back and I advise you to eat elsewhere. I arrived at 12:15 pm and there was only one guy working through the ?lunch rush? which was only 3 other people besides me. When... I finally got my food at 1pm, 2 other employees finally showed up and my food was aweful. The black and blue sub had very verylittle meat and the taste was aweful. I would not recommend this place nor will I ever come back. Extreme disappointment Read more
