Worst Indian food...waiters or hostess didn't care much about their guests. Ambience below average. This place has lot of... potential to improve if the owners wants it. But if they don't I believe there won't be any return guests. Read more
Overall I thought it was fine. The chicken was made well, and mah tai was good, although my wife said it didn't really taste... like one. I think for someone who doesn't know Indian food all that well, it's worth going. But won't be going back. Read more
Raaga is truly an authentic Indian restaurant. The use of spices and exotic flavors in lamb, seafood, or vegetarian dishes is... masterfully prepared. We live in northern Virginia and consider Raaga to be one of our favorite restaurants and a treasure. Read more

I've only had the lunch buffet here and in my opinion, this is the best Indian lunch buffet I've had from my sampling of a few... dozen. Staff are friendly, naan is always brought to the table in what appears to be a freshly cooked state (a nice touch), thechicken in the meat dishes is not overcooked like most places and is tender, sauces are always excellent and flavorful for me. Ican't claim how authentic or not it is for those purists seeking some specific type of Indian and not some adaptation, but forthis American, their food is absolutely delicious and I don't care otherwise. The spice levels are all pretty mild in terms ofheat which is reasonably geared to a wider audience, so keep that in mind if you want heat, you probably need to go a la cartewhich shouldn't be surprising. My only remote complaint, if you can call it that, is that there's a bit of a game or chance asto which dessert offering they have that day for buffet. I love gulab jamun and it's not always there but it's forced me intotrying some of their other desserts which have all been pleasant. Interior is clean and pleasant, usually a nice fairly quietand relaxing place to dine. The decor is probably a little dated but I don't come here for the decor or view and there's nothingoff-putting about the place at all. Read more
