When we walked in the atmosphere looked really nice and they were playing some good songs over the sound system. I did see... something about them having live music but I don't think they were doing that last night. I honestly can't say anything aboutthe food, except that it was overpriced and for the money some of the portions are way too small like the cheeseburger. We justhappened to see the waiter bringing one over to another table. I mean $16 for something that was a little bit bigger than aslider? When the deli next door charges $9 for a much bigger burger with fries. That's really asking too much. A friend of ourswas going to order takeout but was told it would be an hour and a half wait to get one pizza! Part of the menu was handwrittenand photocopied so many times it was hard to read, and we were given one (on a clipboard) to share between me and my friend.Nobody even came over for 5 minutes or so to take our order. So after looking at the menu and getting a peek at the food thateveryone else was being served we decided to go next door. I really hope that the owner takes this into consideration adjustsprices and the service a bit. Read more

The food here was good but the service was remarkably bad, to the point of being upsetting. With some effort, we flagged someone... down to order immediately upon sitting down, hungry. It?s byob and we?d brought wine, but the waitress sent us to get cups andfind a wine key ourselves, suggesting we ask other patrons. She said NOTHING about the corkage fee. The food took forever toarrive, and at no point when ordering were we given any kind of heads up that the kitchen was running late, nor checked in on orasked if we wanted anything in the meantime (like, water would have been nice? Was impossible to get). We were enjoyingourselves and rolling with it for the first 90 minutes, joking about the delay w patrons near us experiencing the same, but asthe place emptied out and it hit the two+ hour mark of waiting for our main dish we started to check on our food. The womanwaitress we had was extremely rude about it, alternating between scolding us for not ordering fast enough (which is weird BC weDID) and ordering the wrong things, and complaining about OTHER customers getting mad at her. Patrons next to us had equallyweird experiences w her - one pair ordered something on the menu, and when they asked for an update on when it was coming said?oh he?s not going to make that? (talking about the chef). She was rude and dismissive of us throughout. When we asked to speakto a manager at the end, she lied to the manager in front of us about her service to us (ex, saying she warned us the kitchenwas an hour behind, which was untrue). Then, the manager offered to take the corkage fee off our bill which no one had even toldus about until that moment! They had a real ?take it or leave it? attitude about their rude service and it was super unpleasant.Food is good but not that good. Certainly not worth receiving such bad treatment! Read more
