Not impressed today. I have enjoyed this place in the past, and developed a taste for their “Smoked Manhattan” - but today... is the third time that I have gone in to get that drink and have been told that the smoker does not work. No apology for notbeing able to make my drink, no accommodation in the price charged to offset my inconvenience. The bartender was good however -thus I am giving a “2” rating today. I cannot fault him. The wine rack is terribly bare (see photo) - I am concerned thatthis may be a “business going out of business” based upon my recent experiences. I suppose that I will need to call aheadnext time to see if something as simple as smoking my Manhattan can be done, or if I should make alternative plans. Sad inFargo, this place used to be better. Wow...this place is a great addition to West Acres and a nice oasis for coffee and lunch on a hot summer day in Fargo. I was... seated at a comfortable booth and waitress served me coffee and I had some ice cream. I also ordered a very delicious Chickenand Mushroom fettuccine. The pasta was definitely homemade. I could taste the sherry in pasta too. There was plenty of chickenin pasta dish but I would have loved more mushrooms and it to be a bit more saucy and creamy. But really great dish very freshtasting. I saw what others ordered coming out to tables as well lots of fresh salads and flat bread and steak. I'm not very sureabout sushi so I didn't attempt it. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The whiskey selection was pretty good and flights are available. I had the... truffle fries and they were fantastic! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The prices were not bad at all, I had expected them toactually be slightly higher. All-in-all I highly recommend. Stopped here for lunch after shopping. Absolutely loved it! I got calamari and a shrimp poke bowl, and my husband got the... chicken & avocado rolls and a bison burger. You get SO much food for what you pay, so the prices are totally worth it. I alsohad a non-alcoholic blueberry mint fizz which was delicious. The poke bowl was so savory and filling, and all of the ingredientsin all our dishes were fresh and crisp. We loved the staff and they were all so friendly. I was also impressed to see themanager/owner/whoever out on the floor helping to restock, wipe tables, serve food, clear plates, and mingle with the guests.The only place seems to run very smoothly.
