Menu for Primo halal food in Farmingdale, NY

Best Halal in Long Island hands down. They were closing when we got there, but still chose to serve us.

Fresh and delicious. I?ve had halal from the area: halal guys, shahs, nazs, halal on wheels... completely honest here I gotta... say Primo is my new favorite, besting halal guys and here?s why: 1) quality and flavor of the food was excellent. Abdul cookedup the chicken and lamb for my combo over rice right when I ordered it.. it wasn?t sitting in a hot tray. It just comes out waydifferent this way compared to how everyone else does it around here with it cooked up in batches and left in a tray. Iunderstand the bigger operations can?t cook everything to order, but too bad for them because Primo can and it comes out bestthat way. Lettuce and tomato were both also fresh. White sauce was tasty and the hot sauce was spicy but not as spicy as halalguys sauce which is a bit too spicy for me. 2)price.. I mean cmon. $7 for chicken and lamb combo over rice with lettuce tomatoonion and cucumber. The portion for that was great too, lots of protein. 3) friendly.. Abdul was there when I ordered and hewas very friendly and welcoming to me, a new customer. He had asked if I?ve tried his food before, I said I hadn?t, and he gaveme a fresh piece of chicken and lamb he just cooked for my order so I can taste the flavor before I cover it in sauce lol. Healso told me about his recipes being their own and what makes them different, and about his other businesses. Overall Icompletely recommended these guys and don?t be scared of the food truck aspect. You?ll be happy you tried them.. I?m probablygoing back again tonight :). Read more
