Second time to try. Gave one more chance to see if it would improve and it has not. Fish is cooked in oil that is too hot... causing the outside to burn and inside to be doughy. Instead of offering fresh lemon wedges, which this desperately needed, theyadded a ton of lemon pepper after it was cooked resulting in eating raw seasoning. Shrimp is nothing but frozen shrimp you couldget at wal mart. No seasoning whatsoever. Fries are soggy, no seasoning whatsoever and tastes like old oil. What is the point ofthe ?chips?? They?re cut too thick to ever be crispy and even if they were you put hot fish on top and they?re soggy. Cole slawis obviously store bought and mine is 3 days old. Hush puppies are nothing but corn meal and whole kernel corn. Leave out thecorn and add onions, jalapeños and seasoning. If you?re going to be fast food that just serves frozen half cooked food yourprices should reflect that. Won?t go back unless I hear it?s under new management. Read more
Farmington location: My first visit. I liked the fish. Cole slaw was pretty good. Fries and chips were a little soggy. It... occurred to me that an absorbent napkin in the bottom of the tray might sustain the integrity of the fish batter on the bottom.Service was great. First time at this place wanted to see if what i was hearing about this new great fish place was true. I got the 4 piece fish... and chips my fish was not golden brown but very dark brown almost on the verge of burning if not very over cooked. hush puppieswere very good fries would have been good but had been way over salted almost to the point of ruining the flavor of the friesand the coleslaw was basically flavorless. I've said for years that we need a good fish and chip joint. We still do. The fish was way overdone, darker than the hush... puppies, not a full filet either. I don't know why there were kettle chips in with the fries, to get soggy I suppose. The frieswere greasy. The only good thing was the potato salad and it was two days old. $13 was entirely too expensive for what I got. Read more
