Excellent Mexican food in downtown Fate, Texas. Not Tex-Mex, but still very good. We had the Chicken Nachos, the Tacos de la... Casa with carnitas, the Tacos Callejeros with chipotle steak, and the Cheese Enchiladas. All were great. For cocktails we allhad Avocado Martinis, which is one of the better drinks I've had anywhere. Nice Mexican restaurant with a cool vibe. There was a nice bar with sports on the TVs. A hostess seats you and was ready to seat... us when we walked in. The waiter was quick to take our drink order and we had chips and salsa brought out right away. The chipswere fresh and the salsa was good. I did notice that the service was hit and miss with different wait staff. I saw one couplewait quite a while for their chips and drinks and it looked like there were about to leave. We ordered quacamole and it was verygood. The food was good but not overly great. I would probably go back and try the lunch menu. Read more
