Weird experience. Like nothing here matched anything. You got sports on the TV, bad overpriced art on the walls, indie ish... punkish music playing, a bartender that seems uninterested in any of these things, and the deafening silence of being the onlyperson here on a Friday night. I guess I'm glad this place is here or something but an awkward time. I hurriedly drank myaverage beer and left. Probably wouldn't come back. Read more
Columbus House ending up being our favorite brewery while we were in Fayetteville. The beer was excellent! They have five beers... that are on tap all the time plus four seasonal beers so we had plenty to choose from and try. The bartender recommended mixingthe golden ale with sour so I tried that and my husband had the saison. Both were so good! Service was friendly and helpful.Atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. In from out of town and stopped by to check this place out on Saturday evening. The selection was limited but very tasty. Good... experience until I went to close my tab and the bar tender had given my card to someone else who signed for me and closed my tabout. Neither one looked at the name on the card, the amount on the tab nor the type of card - both AMEX but different colors. Bartender apologized and tried to contact the other card owner and stated that my tab would be covered. No luck on either - tabstill got charged since the other person signed for me. Now we are cancelling the card and everything associated with it aswell as disputing the charge - unbelievable. Pay attention to what you are doing, this is a complete pain in the XXX. Read more
A nice, casual, fun taproom adjacent to the Razorback greenways. The owners/ staff are cool. The environment is laid back. They... don?t have much selections, but the they have good stuff. We stopped by once and chilled for a while. And we definitelyrecommend the place. We tried the following two: Nutty Runner - very smooth nut brown ale. chocolaty malt flavor has an awesomeroasted nutty aftertaste. Spottie Ottie - Bold and dark oatmeal stout. initial sweetness soon gives way to a coffee andchocolaty aftertaste. Read more
