Overall, I'd say this place was ok. Tried this for the first time on her birthday because one of her friends recommended it. I... recently took a trip to San Juan, PR so I had a good idea of what the food was supposed to taste like and it was close! Thisinside is nice, cool paintings on the wall. We asked about a few items on the menu and they weren't serving a lot of things,which was disappointing. I ordered the nachos and my mom had the empanadas, rice, and plantains. She said her food was prettygood, except for the rice which she thought was a little too sweet (I personally liked the rice). My nachos were pretty much asalad mix with cheese, sour cream, and a whole bunch of beef with not enough chips to support all of it. I was disappointed withthe nachos because they were just ok and I felt like they were something I could make at home. Read more
The food was fantastic and the server was very nice and polite! I got the Mi Balcon Tripleta Sandwich along with a side order of... Sweet Plantains my girlfriend ordered the Tostones. We shared the dishes. I am a guy who often eats until I?m stuffed and thesandwich alone was not only bigger than I expected but was more than enough to make me full. Had a fantastic dinner at the Desde Mi Balcon. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had excellent service. We tried... ceviche, the Desde mi Balcon sandwich, pechuga Al ajillo sweet plantains, red beans and rice, and cube steak. Everything wasdelicious. We will be back soon. Read more
Great service and delicious food! Bonus, you get to practice your Spanish skills ???? The mofongo and arroz con habichuelas... reminded me of my grandmothers. Their flan is delicious too. The flan de coco was a nice flavor without being overpowering andthe flan de queso tasted like a light cheesecake. Highly recommend this place and will return. Read more
